We are currently focusing on three areas of activity:
+ Outcomes research and data – Focusing on data and the importance of robust, up-to-date statistics that will help us better understand this group of students and advocate for better support.
+ Funding structures –Developing our collective approach to creating a sustainable funding infrastructure that supports care experienced & estranged students to thrive at university.
+ Structural responsibility – Collectively working together to address the disparities in support for care experienced & estranged students through things like universal local offer support from LA’s, engagement with NNECL quality mark and CLC HEI engagement activity.
Each area of activity is led by a member organisation who is responsible for convening CLEESinHE members, as well as external experts, to drive forward change, reporting progress to our bi-monthly group meetings.
